Minutes from the meeting of January 21, 2012

President Larry McAuley began the meeting and Vice-President Clarence McAuley said a brief prayer. Secretary Patricia McKenzie read the minutes from the meeting of November 19, 2011. Treasurer Bettie McAuley read her report. Both the minutes and the Treasurer's report were approved as read. More members who had not received their raffle tickets, got them.

Pat read notes that gave the prices of all of the services and venues that we would experience or receive at Myrtle Beach. Larry, Gladys, Carolyn and Pat worked over the holiday on details and prices to prepare the packet to be mailed out to everyone. These prices and pertinent details will be included in the letters that will be mailed out this week. Here is a brief list of them.

Prices per person for the bus:
From Sanford to Myrtle Beach (includes return): $70 For riding in the Myrtle Beach area only: $30

Paradise Tower at The Breakers: Section V - 1 BR condo - $142 per night Section W - 2 BR condo - $210 per night Section X - 3 BR condo - $243 per night Section Y - 3 BR condo - $243 per night

Meal at Papa's Restaurant (across the street): $20 per meal (all ages who eat a meal)

Pirates Voyage attraction
Adults (ages 12 and older) : $42
Children (ages 4-11): $25
Children (3 and under): no charge as long as they sit on the parent's lap and eat from parent's plate.
