Dear Family and Friends,
Each person has been asked to choose 1 meat (entrée). The vegetables, salad & desserts that are listed is what the restaurant will serve us along with the 1 meat that you choose. Please choose the entrée that you would like to have that night and get the information back to me as soon as you can. If you would like to send the choices of everyone sharing your suite if some do not have email, please feel free to do that. I will get a letter out with this information, but it is so much quicker by email. If you are unable to open this attachment, please let me know and I will send it another way. If you are not riding the bus to Myrtle Beach you will need to know the schedule. This is an abbreviation. The Dixie Stampede folk would like for us to be there on Friday evening by 4:30 pm since we are a big group. The pre-show event starts at 5:15 pm and the main show at 6:00 pm. We will be served a delicious dinner during the main show. Remember, what I need from you now is your choice of an entrée from the attached menu for the Saturday night dinner. You will not need to choose anything else. If you received this email and you are not going to Myrtle Beach, please disregard the request as it is being sent to all reunion members on email.
We have submitted the head count to the resort and the suites that were not reserved have been released back to them. Thank you all for your cooperation so far and we look forward to the future near and far.

For the September Reunion, some expressed that they would like to ride the bus once they get to Myrtle Beach as they are driving or flying to South Carolina. To ride the bus to and from all of the activities for the whole weekend, the cost is $25.00. Snacks will be provided on the bus.

The McAuley-Swann Family Reunion will be having it's 2010 Reunion Vacation at The Breakers Family Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. More information about our next reunion such as special pricing, availability, travel, etc. will be posted very soon in order to give you ample time to register. The McAuley-Swann Family Reunion Meeting
May 15, 2010 – 10:00 AM – Golden Corral – Sanford, NC
The family reunion meeting was opened with a prayer by President John McAuley. The minutes and financial report from the previous meeting were read silently and approved by the members present.
Topics Discussed
· Members were asked by the President to report their money for the July event so that a head count could be obtained and plans could be finalized with the caterer. He stated that the deadline is May 31, 2010.
· Gladys McAuley stated that another boardwalk has been constructed at Myrtle Beach with seating and we may want to try it out in September 2010 at the family reunion. She said there are shops in walking distance and the beach is wheel chair accessible.
· John McAuley said the representative for the chartered bus suggested that we send a deposit for the September trip to make sure a very nice bus is reserved for us and the members agreed to send a $500.00 deposit.
· The members were reminded that we will need new officers after September and that they will be elected during the September 2010 Reunion. He said members should be thinking about someone who is willing to serve in each office and that they should be dependable , able and willing to serve.
· The bus for the September trip will leave Sanford on September 10th at 12:00 pm enroute to Myrtle Beach and those riding were asked to be punctual. Where the members will board the bus for departure has not been determined at this time.
· The Clean-Up Committee for the July Event will plan to clean and set up the Broadway Community Center on Friday, July 2nd at 6:00 pm.
· Gladys McAuley has secured more chairs for the Broadway Community Center and John McAuley will check on getting more tables.
· Our next family reunion meeting is June 12, 2010, Golden Corral at 10:00 am.
· Family Donation collected at this meeting: $30.00.
The meeting was closed with a prayer by John McAuley.
